Terms of Use
Danfo Run is a free browser game operated by Eureka Gaming Studios Limited ("we"), a company registered in Nigeria. By playing, you agree to these terms. They're short.
1. The game
The game is free to play and needs no account. Some optional extras can be bought with real money (section 5); everything else is free. We may change, pause or remove features, events, rewards or the game itself at any time. In-game coins, paints and other items have no real-world value and can't be exchanged for money.
2. Driver names
Your driver name is shown publicly on the leaderboard. Don't use names that are offensive, hateful, sexual, impersonate someone else, advertise something, or contain personal information such as phone numbers. We filter some words automatically and may rename or remove names that break these rules.
3. Fair play
Scores must come from actually playing the game in a normal browser. Don't modify the game, automate it, send scores to our server directly, or exploit bugs to inflate scores. We may remove any score or player from the leaderboard that we reasonably believe is not genuine, without notice. If you find a bug, please tell us instead.
4. Motor Parks
Motor Parks are free groups for playing with friends. There's no entry fee, prize or payment. Don't use a park, or anything in the game, to bet, wager or make side bets on scores, park places or the Chairman title, with real money or anything of value. The Chairman title is just for fun and comes with no prize or reward. Park names follow the same rules as driver names (section 2). We may rename a park, remove a driver from it, or close a park that breaks these terms or is used for betting.
5. Purchases (Danfo Run Originals)
What you buy. Danfo Run Originals are optional looks and sounds for your danfo: special buses, horns, a name plate and badges. They change how your danfo looks and sounds, never how it drives or scores. They are a licence to use the item in Danfo Run on your account, not money: they can't be sold, transferred, swapped or exchanged for cash, coins or anything else. Nothing you can buy is random.
Who sells it. Eureka Gaming Studios Limited (see Operator below). Payments are handled by Bachs; we never see or store your card details.
Prices. Prices are shown in naira (₦) or US dollars ($) before you pay, and include VAT (7.5% in Nigeria). Your bank may add its own fees for foreign currency. Some items are on sale for a limited time or in a limited number (for example, only 500 Coral Crowns); once they're gone, they're gone.
Who can buy. You need to sign in with Google, and you confirm you are 18 or older or that your parent or guardian agreed. Every account has spending limits (₦20,000 or $30 a day, ₦50,000 or $70 a month).
Delivery. Your item is added to your account as soon as the payment is confirmed, usually within seconds, and is kept on every device where you sign in. Because it's digital and delivered straight away, you ask us to deliver it at once and you can't cancel it after it's delivered, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
Refunds and problems. If you were charged but didn't get your item, were charged twice, or something else went wrong, email hello@danforun.com with the email you signed in with and the payment reference. We'll deliver the item or refund you. Your rights under Nigerian consumer law (and the consumer law of the country where you live) are not affected.
If we change or end the game. We'll try to keep Originals working as long as Danfo Run runs. If we shut down the game, we'll give at least 30 days' notice on the site. Breaking these terms (for example cheating or chargeback fraud) can lead to an account being closed, and bought items with it.
6. Radio stations
The game's default music is original to the game. The live Lagos stations belong to their owners. The game only tunes in to each station's official public stream, as broadcast, including its adverts, and credits and links to the station. Danfo Run is not affiliated with or endorsed by any station. Station owners who want a change or to be removed can contact us at hello@danforun.com or message @eureka_seamless and we'll act promptly.
7. Our content
The game's code, art, music and design belong to us. You're welcome to share screenshots, clips and score cards, and to stream the game. Please don't copy or republish the game itself.
8. Play safely
Danfo Run is a game, not driving advice. Don't play while actually driving, and please don't drive like a danfo.
9. No guarantees
The game is provided free and "as is". We try to keep it running and your progress safe, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free, or that progress saved in your browser won't be lost (for example, if you clear your browser data).
10. Liability
We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are only liable for breach of essential obligations, limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Otherwise we are not liable. Mandatory statutory liability is not affected.
11. Privacy
How we handle data is explained in the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes and law
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to play means you accept it. The laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria apply, but this doesn't take away any protection you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
